I played in this event again this past sunday. This is the first time i've played on it against since OCt/nov. I ended up placing in the mid 400's or so out of 650 players. the cards didn't fall my way and I'm a bit rusty.

I've decided to try to improve my tournament play since I'll be turning 21 in August and I plan on playing in a lot of tournaments once the LA poker classic comes to the Commerce again. My BR could only afford anything equal to or below $500 in tournaments.

I find the UB sng's really really easy. I've been playing a lot of "heads up" SNg's lately. MY record in the last 25 HU sngs: 17-8. My HU game is really coming along and I plan on playing in the FCP heads up challenge thing that daniel posted a few days ago. I also plan on playing a lot of 6-10 handed TEC sng's so I can win my way into bigger online tournaments without having to put up all the money in myself.

I'll be hitting up the $100, $200, and $500 tournaments on UB a lot in the next 2 months. so watch out

i apoligize for the lack of updates. i've been really really busy with school and i get to lazy to actually post about my poker sessions. I've been playing on UB atleast every other night. I'm actually up in the past month...i won a total of only $1,700 though...swings have been horrible

i'm starting to get into tournaments more. I have recently won 4 TEC's playing sng's so i can actually play the big tournaments again.

Sorry for the lack of updates once again. I've been on a bad downswing lately, so i took another break since I have to get ready for school again. anyways, i'm just going to ramble anything a lot of things

-Poker wise, i'm down -$2,400 since I last posted. I took a huge beat for a $1,000 pot like a week ago. AK vs K8 with a K 7 5 flop...turn was an 8 and the rest is history. made some donk plays and lost some coinflips. ehhh 5-6full buys in isnt much.

-I have a huge tournament this coming Sunday. It's a $500+15 buy in on Ultimate bet, with a guaranteed Prize pool of $$$$1 MILLION DOLLARS! this if by far the biggest tournament I have ever played. The winner is estimated to recieve around $230,000. I sold 45% of myself to a lot of other poker players since I didn't want to buy in for the whole thing. I also wanted to decrease my loses since 2000-3000 players are probably going to be playing in this tournament.

-Anyways, i wanted to let everyone know what i've done with my huge tournament win. I bought a new car, gave parents a large sum ($3,500), put some in Mutual Funds, christmas presents and a few things for myself. I'm saving the rest

-School is starting up again in less than a month. Fuck i hate it...nuff said

- I have no resolutions for 2006 since i think its fucking lame that people need a the new year to come around to have a goal. My goals are simple...make money, make my loving g/f the happiest girl in the word, and love everyone who is close to me, and stay healthy

I've been playing a lot of poker in the past 2 days. I've been up, down, up, down, then up again. a huge roller coaster. i hardly keep track of any big hands, so i'm sorry for not posting anything interesting. I'm up $1,200 or so since the last time i posted. i'm done for the night... i hope. every time i say that, i usually end up playing a few more hrs at like 3 in the morning. haha

anyways, today i bought a few more gifts since I hate shopping, so i put it off until the last minute. I bought some pretty expensive stuff since i want to give great presents for once. well i'm out

I woke up today like I usually do everyday, by my g/f who calls me every morning to wake me up since my alarm sucks. I promised her we would go shopping for christmas presents that I needed to get for my family/friends. If you don't know me, I hate the mall...I hate shopping period. We got there around 1:30pm and it wasn't crowded like I expected it to be. I ended up buying only 2 gifts. A $100 giftcard from MAC(make-up) for my older sister and some stuff from bath&beyond for my other sister. I still need to get a lot of presents for a lot of other people...I HATE SHOPPING!! Well after we got done walking around, we ate at Marie Calenders, which was awesome as always.
We got to my house since she didn't have work for another few hours. I actually was online most of the time searching for some gifts on ebay, or football cards for myself. I ended up buying my g/f this Coach Handbag which came out to $258.00 total. I have a few other things i'm going to get her, which will add up to a total of $450 on her gifts alone. I think i'm getting my parents a flat-screen TV for their new room, which should look awesome.. FUck i should get one for myself while i'm at it.
Anyways, after I dropped her off at work, I played poker for about 3-4hrs. I went to go pick her up after a few hours and we went to her house and just hung out. After i got home again, i played for another 3-4hrs. I had the second biggest day for cash games today/tonight. I ended the night been up +$2,864. I played mainly 1-2nl and 2-4nl...even though i did jump to the 3-6nl since i felt like gambling. I'm glad I'm getting back into action. I haven't played a tournament since my official day back from my poker break. Ehhh well i'm tired and I don't have any interesting hands, well actually, i don't remember any interesting hands from tonight since i'm fuckinggggggggggggggggggg TIRED!

Well today I had to take my new car in so they could add some lojack program thing. If my car ever gets stolen, I could call the cops and they will know where it is within 24hrs. Anyways, i got a free rental car and I decided to pay $40 dollars more just to get a sweeeeet ride for a day. I decided to get a Cadillac Escalade ::sp??:: wow those trucks areeeeeeee niceee. I'm "rolling" with it for one night.

anyways, i played a lot of poker last night and today. I was playing some 1-2nl and some 2-4nl. I'm up $1,700 since my day back...::two days ago::

i won a nice pot for $800 at the 2-4nl table today. We were playing 3 handed, and I raise it to 14 from the button with 75s and the BB called. The flop came Q 5 5 (two hearts). The pot had $30 and I decided to bet $20 after the BB checked. he ended up called after he took a while to think. The turn blanked. he bet $30 into $70 dollar pot. He probably put me on a flush draw..or a weaker hand. right after he bet, i put him on a Queen. The river was a beautiful 5. It not only gave me quads, but if he had a queen, it gave my opponent a full house. he ended up moving all in quickly for like $330 more and I instantly called. I did get lucky to hit my quads but it happens.

well tonight, my gf is going over her friends house and I might go out with my friends since I have this sweet ride for a night. I want to stay home and play poker but i probably wont. Well take care all

Well finals are officially over for me. i have a month and a half off for vacation until spring semester starts. At the rate i'm going, i wont be done with school until the age of 24-25...EHHHHHHH whatever

anyways, i haven't played a lot of poker lately and I usually let my dad or sister play under my SN. they played very very low limits or play chips. Anyways, I decided to deposit and change my password because it's time for "work" mode again. I deposited only $200 since I wanted to get the rust off my shoulders a bit. I decided to move down from my normal limits of 1-2nl and 2-4nl, to .50-1nl and even .25/50nl. I played around with those $200 and eventually lost it all within 2 hrs of play. I wasn't play my normal game.

Again, I deposited, this time $1,000. I played .50-1nl this time and was multitabling. I started to get comfortable again and started to run good. After I was up 2 buy ins ($200), I decided to move up to my normal game to see where I was at. Well I guess I started off well. I played for about another 3-4hrs at 1-2nl and 2-4nl. At the end of the night, I was up a total of $700 for the day. Great day of poker. I just started off cold a bit, losing 200 off the bat but I'm starting to feel it again.

I will def. be playing a lot more poker now since school is out. Anyways, thanks for reading my blog. I apologize for the lack of updates. I promise more poker to come tomorrow

I've been really really happy with my g/f in the past few months. Things are going great. I have my new car, which I love to drive. MY g/f makes me the happiest man in the world. We've been together for 3 years and I love her so much. she is my everything. She has changed me in so many ways. I have no idea where I would be in life without her. Family is great as well. they support me playing poker, but at the same time, they want me to teach them.

i've been trying to focus on finals since they are coming up. I've been really busy with christmas shopping as well. I've been getting into card collecting again. I bought a few boxes and got some nice Game used/Auto. cards.

I'm starting to sell a few things on ebay...mostly cards.

I haven't been playing any poker at all. I did play a sitngo under my dads name because he was sleepy. man those $1 sng's are weak. I ended up getting second when my KK got raped by A10s.

I do play a bit late night when i'm bored for like 30 minutes. Usually .50-1nl since i feel a bit rusty. Anyways, hopefully I could start playing soon, I need to make that $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

well lately, i've been playing poker but i've been getting to busy to actually make a blog about it. i've had my up and downs. The biggest score i had in the past days was $1300...biggest lost i've hand was $900. Overall, since the last post, i'm up only $520.

I have a few TEC's just sitting around so i want to play the sunday tournament really really bad, but it's hard for me to find time. I havent been playing a lot compared to 2 weeks ago since finals are coming up so it's time to study..

I've been really tired with school and other stuff that I wasn't really focused on poker all that much today..until tonight. I played a lot of 1-2nl since I followed this fish around. he ended up dropping $450 to me in like 20 minutes. He was really really on tilt...he just made my buddy list. I ended the night been up $950

Anyways, I'm going to try and focus on other things in my life other than poker. It seems like after my big win, I was just focusing my life on something that I could do tomorrow..or the next day. I have other very important things in my life that I need to focus on right now. School, g/f, family and friends. Christmas is coming up and i'm already buying stuff for my family and friends ahead of time. I'm actually buying pretty good gifts.

well I didn't edit my last post from last night, but I was up a total of $600 or so just playing some 2-4nl.

today. I had class in the morning which I hate with a passion but I need to go. I played some poker and was down $200 losing it all in a hand when I had AJ vs 105o on a A 10 7 board. he thought I was bluffing but ended up catching runner runner 5's for a full house...WHAT a fucking donk!

I played some 2-4nl and didn't have any big hands as I slowly doubled my buy in for $400 to $800 and left the table after most of the dead money was gone. I played 2
SnG for $23+2 (6 handed)...winner got a TEC+$10 and 2nd got $18. I won my first one without any problems since most of the players were scared for some reason. I played the second one while the WSOP 05 was on and I followed it on the FCP forums with my fellow members. A lot of entertaining replys were coming up every second since it was a pretty crazy/funny episode/s. I ended up getting lucky heads up when I made my flush on the river..then took it down a few hands later. I won 2 TEC's and $20 playing two SNG's.

I will use those TEC's to buy-in into the $200+15 Sunday tournament on UB this sunday...or whenever I have free time.

I will update later if I play more. I just finished watching the WSOP 05 main event episodes and FUCK, I FUCKING HATE THAT KANTER GUY. HE COULD SUCK MY DICK AND CHOKE ON MY CUM! ...he sucked out on a lot of players

I sleeped in until 12pm when my dad woke me up to clean both yards since it was saturday. After I got done in about 1.5 hrs, I took a shower and was ready to play some poker. I played one Sng so I could win my seat for tomorrows 200+15 tournament but came in 4th. I felt like playing some 2-4nl and played for about 2-3 hrs straight. For 3 hrs straight, I played great poker. I was controlling the table I was at with 3 others. The only big hand I remember was a 1,500 dollar pot with my 66 again!

I was on the button and raised it to 14. the BB then reraised me to 40. We both had huge stacks so I called since if he had a big PP, I would bust him if a 6 falls. the flop came 7 9 2 rainbow, he checked, and after a few seconds of thinking about betting, I checked since it might be the old check and raise with PP on a ragged flop. the turn came a magical 6. He bet the bot(80), and I bumped it up to 200. He quickly went all in for 750 total and I couldnt call faster. The only hand I was actually worried about was the 99 for a bigger set. The river came a Queen and I took down the $1,500 pot.

After that hand, I played another orbit and left. I played for another hr or so and somehow doubled my buy in of 400 Twice at two different tables. I left to go do something with my g/f and got home around 1am or so.

I then played 3-6 nl and doubled up when my AA went up against a bigger stack holding QQ. no queen fell and bam, I had 1200 after a few hands of play. Cards were just rolling my way.

well i'm fucking tired and I have a bigggggggggggg day of football tomorrow. GO FUCKING RAIDERS BABY!!!!!

I ended the day up $3,218(my biggest cash-game win yet)

i promise i'll write about some of my strategy on here really really soon. I just get too lazy and end up playing. This is my biggest score yet on cash games. Hopefully tomorrow I could win my way into the $200+15..if I don't, I might just buy in for the full amount just to try and defend my title. gl everyone, except when playing against me

a quick update on my day/night. I quickly started the day off pretty good. I sat down at the 5-10nl table after a guy I played with on 2-4nl was on tilt. we were playing 3 handed and I had $500 in front of me. to make the long story short, I doubled up twice and left when I was up $2400 total. $1,900 profit in like 1hr.

Anyways, I played a 40+4 tournament and quickly got my chips up to 6,000 from the 1500. After the first break, I ended up having a "matusow" blow up and got knocked out in like 10 min.

I still felt like playing, but I didn't want to. I didn't listen to myself and dropped over $1,600 playing 5-10nl. I'm really dissapointed on myself since I could've just left my room to go watch some tv after the tournament...BUT NO! one hand, I tried to bluff a guy with 55 on a J 9 2 board..he ended up calling me with KQs...a king game on the turn and blank on the river..so there goes $500,

I played heads up at another table. I sat with $1,000 and was quickly up to $1400. He had over $3,000 to begin with. I basically lost when my AK went all in on a A 5 6 board against his 56o...turn and river blank...down another

i'm still up $220 for the day, but it dissapointing after I was up $1,700 more

ehhhhhh I suck. next time I should listen to myself and quick when I "blow up" or don't feel like playing.

well today was big day for me. I played for about 7 hrs in total. I played some cash games and 2 tournaments.

The first tournament I played was the $100+9 buy in with $19k gua. but I busted out within 30 min. which sucked. I played some my normal 1-2 and 2-4 cash game and was up only like $40 after an hour of play. I got really bored, and saw that a player that i've played with before was sitting with $500 at the 5-10nl table. I played him heads up and we went back and forth for a few hands until another player sat. We played 3 handed for a while. I don't remember the hands cleary, but I doubled up from the new player when I hit my trips against his top pair. A few min. later, the other player left and I keeped on playing with the guy who doubled me up. We both had stacks of $1,000 when the following hand came up

I had KQs on the button and raised it to $35. he reraised to $100 total. I called since I had positin on him and my hand was pretty good heads up. the flop came a scary Q 9 J rainbow. He bet out $150 and I called. the turn came a blank, he bet out around $225, and i sensed weakness, so I moved all in with my top pair and a gut-shot. he quickly called, which made me think I was beat by AQ or trips..the river blanks and he shows J10o for a pair of jacks and an open-ended straight draw. I took down the +$2,000 pot. he left right after. So in about 40 minutes, i quadrupled my $500 buy in into $2,000. I was pretty stoked since it's pretty big for me.

I still felt like playing, but didn't want to play cash games anymore. I saw that the $30+3 guar. $12k was about to start at 7pm. I signed up a few min. before it closed. I played pretty solid all tournament long. I made some good bluffs and i'm pretty sure atleast 1 GREAT laydown when I had trips. I quickly found myself on a groove and was moving up in chips every orbit. I felt like i had a good read on most players at my table and I had the chip lead so I punished the small stacks a whole lot near the bubble. I was the around 3rd in chips with 20 players left(top 30 paid). I was already in the money and had good chip position. I was confident that I was going to go far. With around 14 players left or so, I made a huge bluff against a player to my left with my weak ace against his JJ on a K 10 10 board. a few hands later, i lost half my stack when I made a silly mistake and thought I could make a player fold his raise with my 55 by putting him all in...WRONG!. he had 99 and doubled up. I recovered somewhat after a few hands and was around 40k when we got to the final table, which was good for 6th place in chips. A few hands into the tournament, the chip leader made a raise to 10k. I decided to gamble/test him and moved all in for 35k total. He quickly called with AJ against my AQo. I was in great shape to double up and be in 2nd chip position if i won. I jack came on the flop and that's all she wrote. came in 10th place for a dissapointing $150 since 1st place paid $3,000

I was only dissapointed with one hand, which was my pocket 5's. I overplayed them and it cost me half my stack. I got unlucky at the end, but it happens. After the tournament, I went to go watch some tv and relax. I thought about some hands and my play of that tournament. I basically just analyzed my play and wrote down some things i needed to do and not to do for the next tournament.

I left around midnight to go hang out with my g/f since she was at work and went with her friend afterwards. After i got home around 1:30am or so, I played some more poker.

I played a few hands of 1-2nl, but there was no short-handed game going on so i moved up to 2-4nl. After an hour of play, I was up little under $400. The only big hand I played that session was when I hit my flush against this weak player and he paid me off for a $400 dollar pot. I lost a $400 pot when I had KJs and raised on the BB(3 handed). the button called after he limped and the SB folded. The flop came K 7 5(2 clubs). It was a great flop for me since i had KJclubs. I checked and he bet the pot of $36. I smooth called. the turn came a red six, I checked again, and he bet $60 and I decided to move all in since I thought I was ahead. He called after a few seconds. the river blanked, but I still thought I had the best hand until he turns over 56o for two pair. I liked the way I played it, but I took a chance to slowplay, and he caught his 4 outter on the turn...ehhhhh better luck next time

I ended the day up pretty big, with $2237

After my big tournament win, I feel more comfortable playing since I don't have to be taking out money out of my BR every week or two weeks. I could just left it sit in there and grow. I think that was the thing that was keeping back before, since I cashed out some money every week or so. Now that I have the money that I need, I could afford to leave my money on Ultimate bet and play with it and follow the 20 buy in rule...even though i did play 5-10nl today, which broke that rule

Well like I stated before, pokershare shut down my old acccout, teneight10844 since it wont allow any n. american players to play. I created a new one, teneight44108 and deposited $2,000 on it.

I was a bit dissapointed since I had a great rakeback deal on my old account and I had a ton of bonus dollars. Well the day started off slow playing the usual 1-2nl. I was up $200 then even..then up $200 or so, then even again. I played a TEC sit and go, but came in 4th. I lost all my coinflips and made one wrong read on a player which cost me a lot of chips.

I ended up ending the afternoon up $190 or so before I left to my g/f house to take her to work. After I came back home, I didn't feel like playing so I did some yard work outside since I still have my duties to do around the house. I played my with 2 dogs since I hardly ever do that anymore.

Time quickly passed since I took a nap since I was tired from school. I woke up and headed straight to www.fullcontactpoker.com since I could spend all day just reading the forums there. I love that place. I don't know if i mentioned it but daniel negreanu (pro poker player) mentioned me on his Blog/journal which made my fucking day

I ended up leaving a bit after that to pick up my g/f from work and bring her to my house to make her some food. We ate and took her home were we ...well you know (hehehe). i came home around 12:30 or so because I have school tomorrow at 9am...what a fucking drag!!!!!!

I decided to play some 2-4nl for the rest of the night. No big hands really come up, but I did get lucky once for a $300 dollar pot...I hit a runner runner flush. I felt bad since I hate it when it happens to me, but hey, that's poker. I played for about 2 hrs and now i'm here..typing this thing. fuck i'm tired. I'm up $680 today

well word got around FCP and everyone was happy ::i think:: that I took down the UB sunday special. I told a few of my close friends and my g/f today, followed by them asking me to stake them or let them borrow money. I said no since some of them already owe me money...well except my g/f ::my money is her money::

I then went to go pick up my g/f during her lunch break and told her about my win while I took her to eat. She was happy, but still upset that I could just home while she is busting her ass off and make more money than her. I think I have to buy her something nice just to shut her up..lol j/k

I ended up playing again after I came from from watching Saw 2(good movie) w/ my gf. I sat at a 1-2nl table with 200. I was playing this really loose/aggressive guy some heads up. He raised like 75% of the time, so i knew I was either going to win big or lose my buy in. I was up to 1k total after like 45 minutes of playing time. A few players walked straight into our chaos and left after a few hands when they realized we were playing CRAZY poker...well mostly he was. I could've been up to $1,250 but the guy sucked out his spade flush on the river against my top pair ::trips on the river but it was a spade:: for a $500 pot. I got up and left after that. I then read on www.fullcontactpoker.com that he ended up sucking out a few other players and was up to 1200 or so before he left...I def. added him to my buddy list.

Oh, I almost forgot, I played a TEC sitandgo today. it was a small $13+1 which paid

Well my biggest score in my life was last night. I took down the $200+15 on UB for $36k. The night before I was in vegas having a good time with my g/f, but I was really tired the next day ::sunday::. I had only like 3 hrs of sleep, plus getting high hours before cost me $1,100 on cash games. I wasn't even going to play the $200 tournament because I felt tired, but I took some vitamins ::not the poker ones btw:: and bought in the tournament in the last 4 min. It would've been horrible if I didn't set my alarm at 4:55pm since the tournament started at 5pm.

I sat at my table with some aggressive players to my left. My strategy was like all other tournaments I played. Don't limp in with marginal hands out of position since someone always ends up raising, and you are forced to call at times having odds. You have to save as many chips as possible for whenever you have a big hand and have a chance to double up.Haveing 1300 and 1600 is a 600 chip differnce if you double up.
I didn't get many hands at first, but somehow I found myself at 3000 in 30 min of playing good poker. I bluffed on a pretty good pot when I thought my opponent was trying to buy it.

I really didn't have any big hands until like level 6-7. I've watched Gank play tournaments on UB a few times and I've noticed that he really pushes small edges against stacks that can't hurt him. I applied the same thing on a hand where I was up against two small stacks. I had middle pair with the nut flush draw. One of the small stacks bet the pot, and the other called. I ended up putting both of them all in but only 1 called. I had 14 outs ::coinflip:: and won a nice pot.

I was sitting arond 10k for a very very longgggg time. I didn't get any playable hands but I keeped the steady stack with stealing once or twice every orbit. That really helped me out a lot since I never was short stacked. I don't really remember how I got over 20k since I was tired and still felt weird from smoking a few hours before. (maybe that's Ganks secret) hehe

I got lucky one time when I was somewhat short-stacked. I decided to move all in on the button with QJo and the BB made took a while to call with AJs. All my hopes and dreams were on a 30% chance to win. I hit a magical straight on the turn which def. put me in the money. I had 40k in chips when a small stack moved in on my AA with his AA. I ended up hitting a runner runner flush and I was up to 55k.

This is were I started to get aggressive since I had small stacks to my left. I quickly went up to 77k just stealing blinds since every hand there was 5k up for grabs.

I got it up to 110k when my QQ went up against AKo. A river came in the end to take me down to 60k. I was so dissapointed since were were down to 3 tables. I still didn't give up, I told myself I still had a good chance to do some damage. when we were down to 2 tables, I was went all in again on the cut-off with A2s. everyone folded to the BB who called me with KQo. blanks came and i doubled up with Ace high to 140k. from there, I played tight-aggressive poker.

When the final table came, I was 4th in chips. I didn't win any crazy hands, but took some blinds every orbit just to keep my stack steady. Players started to bust out left and right but I still didn't have any hands until we were down to 5 players. once we got shorthanded, I knew I could start playing my aggressive game since most players were just trying to move up. I attacked the small stacks with playable hands in position and bluffed my opponent to my right a few times when I thought he was making a move or I sensed some weakness.

The only hands I showed down were big hands like pockets Tens, AK, AQ, and pocket jacks. It really helped me out a lot since it gave me the chance to steal with marginal hands. I was now heads up and even in chips. I asked the guy if he thought about chopping for 29k each, but he declined. We went back and forth, and he took the chip lead for a while. Then I was dealt 66 on the sb ::button: and made a standard raised to 90k ::blinds were 15k-30k::he reraised me to 150k total. I had about 450k and decided it was proably enough to make him fold a AJ or lower..or maybe even a mid pair. He ended up calling and were were off to the races. After all the cards fell, I won since no face cards or aces came and I let out a "DAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!", which woke up my mom. hahhaha I had 1.7mil to his 250k. A few hands later, I raised it up to 90k when he moved all in with Q9o. I had him dominated with AQs. An ace hit the flop and it was all over BABY!

I was speechless at first. I didn't know how to react. I just pumped my fist and let out a very small "yeah babY!". I want to thanks a lot of FCP members for cheering me on and Steve7 for the great advice he gave me during the tournament. With my winnings, I will probably invest some of it and i'm def. buying a car. This is my biggest pay day yet and I hope it isn't my last one.

I just took down the $200+15 tournament on Ultimate bet. I was having a bad day, been down $1,100 ::look at the post below:::. I decided to play the tournament in the last minute and I ended up winning it for $36,000. thank you everyone who cheered me on and gave me advice.

I will follow up this post with the vegas post but more importany, I will post about the tournament and how I took it down. I won some coinflips and got lucky only 1 time

not a good day for poker. -$1,100. I smoked before I played and I felt like playing big. I decided to sit at the 25/50nl for a while, and left +$250. then I played heads up with this kornikova player and lost 1k. I was up to $1800 at one point, but wanted to keep playing.

I played some more 1-2 nl. I doubled played for about 1 hr and got my 200buy in up to $380 when I flop a queen high spade flush and this fish went all in holding the Ace of spades trying to hit his flush. i love me some fish!

Well today was my day off from school. Fuck yeah! I slept in until 12pm and headed straight for Ultimate bet. I had my oreo's and milk breakfast and was ready to go. I ended up playing for about 4 hrs while I did my normal reading/posting on FCP. Things started off slow at the 1-2nl tables with no big hands going on but I did win some nice pots. For about 3.5 hrs I sat and played and was up $350-$375 or so.

I needed a break so i decided to watch Saw 1 again since I'm going to go see Saw II later on tonight with my g/f after she gets off work. Since I already saw it once, I was playing around with my palm pilot since some parts of the movie are boring.

Around 6pm I decided to play some more. I felt like gambling so I moved up to 2-4nl. The game was 3 handed and I bought in for $400. I sat next to the more aggressive player from the two. A few big hands came up.

The first big hand was when I had JJ in the SB. The button folded and I made a standard raise to 14 and the BB called. The flop came Q J 6 ::two clubs::. I bet the pot(28)and he called. The turn came a K. I bet 67 and he called. River a blank and I went all in with my JJ and he folded. I won a $260 pot.

A few hands later we were heads up since the other player busted and left. It was me vs the aggressive player. I get J9 hearts on the SB(button) and raise it up to 14. He calls. I have around $325 and he has $650 or so. The flop came 10 5 8 ::two diamonds:: he check, I bet the pot(28) and he calls. Turn is a great 7 of spades. I bet like half the pot hoping he would come over the top of me, which he did. I went all of and he called so quickly. At this point, I thought it was going to be a chop pot, but I didn't want to see a diamond come on the river. The river was a King of diamonds and my heart dropped. All of a sudden I see $650 pot getting towards me. He had a horrible J7o and was trying to make a move. I don't know how he called my all in on the turn. horrible play, but it seemed like he was a on tilt for a reason.

A few hands later, he had $375 orso in front of him. I'm in the BB with 33. I call his raise of 14. The flop comes 7 3 8 ::two clubs:: he bets 28 and I min. raise him. He calls. the turn is red Jack. I bet the pot since I don't want to give him a cheap card. He moves all in, and i'm forced to call. the river is a K of clubs and he turns over J10o for a pair of jacks. I win with my trips a $750 dollar pot. He quickly left the table.

I took him for little less than $700 in like 35-40 minutes. I added him to my buddy list hoping I could face him again.

I'm going to vegas on Friday night and coming back Sunday morning. Fuck yeah. Even though I'm not 21 yet, I'm going to try and play some NL cash games. I don't know exactly what casinos i'll be hitting up yet, but I def. want to play some poker. It's going to be my first time playing cards in Vegas since I've only been there ONCE! ...only ONCE! and I live in Los Angeles. It should be fun. I don't plan on getting wasted since I want to actually remember my first time in vegas playing cards and not blow my money away. People in Vegas, look out for Teneight!

anyways, today I went to class today from 9am-1pm. When I got home I jumped straight into the 2-4nl table. We were playing 3 handed and I didn't do much for about 10 hands. I was to the left to a very aggressive player, so I was just hoping to hit a good flop and slow play the fuck out of that douche ::i'll explain the bitterness later::

I was down to $320 from my $400 buy in when the only big hand came up:

I was on the button with Quack Quack (pair of 2's) and made a standard raise to 14. The SB(over aggressive opponent) called my raised and the BB folded. The flop came 7 2 3 (2 hearts). he checked, and I debated for a while to bet the pot or bet small. Since in my previous hands against both opponents, I was playing rather tight and I was letting them take the small pots away, hoping they would think they could just run me over even in a big pot. I didn't want to give him a free card ofcourse, but I didn't want to bet the pot. I decided to be 17 into a 32 dollar pot. He took long time when he finally decided to go all in on me. I couldn't click call any faster. The pot was over $640. I was praying for no heart when the turn came 9 and river was an 8, no hearts. I thought I took the pot down UNTIL he flipped over JTs ::clubs:: for a runner runner straight.

I wasn't dissapointed in the hand overall since I got him to do exactly what I wanted him to do. He thought he could run me over since I've made similar bets before hand and folded to a big raise. Those were all small pots, but when the big one came along, he was in big trouble but he ended up getting lucky.

I feel like BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH right now. I just don't feel like playing at all. I went to dinner with my g/f to a Italian resturant which was very good. The day in los angeles has been really cloudly, and I usually love these days but I feel tired. I'm still up $125 today and I think i'm going to call it a night for poker. I just don't feel like playing.

Today I played the usual 1-2nl and some 2-4nl. I ended up the day with a +$435. The only big pot was a 300 dollar pot against a weak player. I only play short-handed NL since the game is more aggressive and we get to see a lot more hands. I will only say how much profit/loss I'm for the day/s and will never mention my total BR since it's personal.

I was in the BB (2-4nl) with QJs and everyone folded to the button who raised the min. to 8. I called since it was only 4 more to me. The flop came Q 5 Q rainbow. I checked, he bet the pot and I called. He was a very weak-tight player, and this smelled like AA/KK. I knew I was going to bust him. Turn was a 10 putting a flush draw out there. I checked, he bet the pot again and I came over the top of him since he only had a total of 150-160 before the hand. He did have AA and the river blanked.

I got lucky on that hand, but he misplayed his hand again. He let me see the flop basically for free. If he would've made a standard 14-16 dollar raise PF, I probably would've folded since he was a really tight player. Players these days.

I also played a $40+4 today but didn't even make it to the first break. = (

Well I started playing poker at a very young age. My family use to play all the time, and back then I use to think that poker all about luck. Fast Foward to 2000, when I found the poker game, texas holdem. After first, the game seemed very boring but after I came across it on ESPN, I wanted to learn more about it.

I've been playing/studying for 3.5 years now, and I'm improving every day. At first, I started off just playing home games with my family. Later, I found Online poker. Party poker was my first site, but I hated the way it looked. A few weeks later, I found my favorite poker site of them all, Ultimate bet. I started off playing with play chips for about 5-6 months, mostly heads up and the freeroll tournaments. I got better, but I knew that I had to stop playing play chips. I decided to look for local home games around here to see how good I was. I found a few games in O.C. and did well in them. Mostly $5 and $10 dollar tournaments. Then I came across the best home game I have ever attended, http://www.pcshomegame.com. The tournament was a pretty expensive one since it was a $20 dollar buy in, with $20 rebuys. I ended up taking 2nd place for $150 and won another $40 in cash games. I started to do well at the home game, cashing and winning every so often. I was the most successful player there for a while. They players have all improved and we have some very serious talented players there.

A year or so passed when I finally decided to put money online after I played the morongo, commerce, and bike 2-4 limit tables for a while, which I did okay in. My first deposit was $50 dollars. I didn't want to play too high, but I didn't want to play too low. I ended playing the 25nl and ended up losing my $50 in a couple of hours. I was so dissapointed. I deposited it a 1 more time and ended up losing it all in a week or so. Then I decided to end online poker after losing $100 dollars and learn a lot more which ever way I can

My game improved a lot from posting on a few poker forums, reading a ton of books, and live playing. It took me about a year to become a winning player, and as of right now, I feel like i'm on top of my game. I usually play NL holdem ring games or tournaments but i'm solid in omaha, omaha 8/b and stud.

Anyways, to make the long story short, I play onUltimate bet (ID= teneight10844). I have now moved up to 1/2nl and 2-4nl. My BR is at it's high and I do pretty well playing a few hours a day when I don't go to school or visit my g/f. I play $20-$50 dollar tournaments on UB and I cash in about 35% of them. My biggest tournament cash is $1100 in a second place finish on a $40-4 tournament on UB while ago.
