sundays $200+15 on UB

I played in this event again this past sunday. This is the first time i've played on it against since OCt/nov. I ended up placing in the mid 400's or so out of 650 players. the cards didn't fall my way and I'm a bit rusty.

I've decided to try to improve my tournament play since I'll be turning 21 in August and I plan on playing in a lot of tournaments once the LA poker classic comes to the Commerce again. My BR could only afford anything equal to or below $500 in tournaments.

I find the UB sng's really really easy. I've been playing a lot of "heads up" SNg's lately. MY record in the last 25 HU sngs: 17-8. My HU game is really coming along and I plan on playing in the FCP heads up challenge thing that daniel posted a few days ago. I also plan on playing a lot of 6-10 handed TEC sng's so I can win my way into bigger online tournaments without having to put up all the money in myself.

I'll be hitting up the $100, $200, and $500 tournaments on UB a lot in the next 2 months. so watch out

i apoligize for the lack of updates. i've been really really busy with school and i get to lazy to actually post about my poker sessions. I've been playing on UB atleast every other night. I'm actually up in the past month...i won a total of only $1,700 though...swings have been horrible

i'm starting to get into tournaments more. I have recently won 4 TEC's playing sng's so i can actually play the big tournaments again.

EXTRA! EXTRA! EXTRA!

Sorry for the lack of updates once again. I've been on a bad downswing lately, so i took another break since I have to get ready for school again. anyways, i'm just going to ramble anything a lot of things

-Poker wise, i'm down -$2,400 since I last posted. I took a huge beat for a $1,000 pot like a week ago. AK vs K8 with a K 7 5 flop...turn was an 8 and the rest is history. made some donk plays and lost some coinflips. ehhh 5-6full buys in isnt much.

-I have a huge tournament this coming Sunday. It's a $500+15 buy in on Ultimate bet, with a guaranteed Prize pool of $$$$1 MILLION DOLLARS! this if by far the biggest tournament I have ever played. The winner is estimated to recieve around $230,000. I sold 45% of myself to a lot of other poker players since I didn't want to buy in for the whole thing. I also wanted to decrease my loses since 2000-3000 players are probably going to be playing in this tournament.

-Anyways, i wanted to let everyone know what i've done with my huge tournament win. I bought a new car, gave parents a large sum ($3,500), put some in Mutual Funds, christmas presents and a few things for myself. I'm saving the rest

-School is starting up again in less than a month. Fuck i hate it...nuff said

- I have no resolutions for 2006 since i think its fucking lame that people need a the new year to come around to have a goal. My goals are simple...make money, make my loving g/f the happiest girl in the word, and love everyone who is close to me, and stay healthy

I've been playing a lot of poker in the past 2 days. I've been up, down, up, down, then up again. a huge roller coaster. i hardly keep track of any big hands, so i'm sorry for not posting anything interesting. I'm up $1,200 or so since the last time i posted. i'm done for the night... i hope. every time i say that, i usually end up playing a few more hrs at like 3 in the morning. haha

anyways, today i bought a few more gifts since I hate shopping, so i put it off until the last minute. I bought some pretty expensive stuff since i want to give great presents for once. well i'm out

I woke up today like I usually do everyday, by my g/f who calls me every morning to wake me up since my alarm sucks. I promised her we would go shopping for christmas presents that I needed to get for my family/friends. If you don't know me, I hate the mall...I hate shopping period. We got there around 1:30pm and it wasn't crowded like I expected it to be. I ended up buying only 2 gifts. A $100 giftcard from MAC(make-up) for my older sister and some stuff from bath&beyond for my other sister. I still need to get a lot of presents for a lot of other people...I HATE SHOPPING!! Well after we got done walking around, we ate at Marie Calenders, which was awesome as always.
We got to my house since she didn't have work for another few hours. I actually was online most of the time searching for some gifts on ebay, or football cards for myself. I ended up buying my g/f this Coach Handbag which came out to $258.00 total. I have a few other things i'm going to get her, which will add up to a total of $450 on her gifts alone. I think i'm getting my parents a flat-screen TV for their new room, which should look awesome.. FUck i should get one for myself while i'm at it.
Anyways, after I dropped her off at work, I played poker for about 3-4hrs. I went to go pick her up after a few hours and we went to her house and just hung out. After i got home again, i played for another 3-4hrs. I had the second biggest day for cash games today/tonight. I ended the night been up +$2,864. I played mainly 1-2nl and 2-4nl...even though i did jump to the 3-6nl since i felt like gambling. I'm glad I'm getting back into action. I haven't played a tournament since my official day back from my poker break. Ehhh well i'm tired and I don't have any interesting hands, well actually, i don't remember any interesting hands from tonight since i'm fuckinggggggggggggggggggg TIRED!

FCP has been dead lately...welll everything else but the OFF-topic forum. OTC4LIFE!

Well today I had to take my new car in so they could add some lojack program thing. If my car ever gets stolen, I could call the cops and they will know where it is within 24hrs. Anyways, i got a free rental car and I decided to pay $40 dollars more just to get a sweeeeet ride for a day. I decided to get a Cadillac Escalade ::sp??:: wow those trucks areeeeeeee niceee. I'm "rolling" with it for one night.

anyways, i played a lot of poker last night and today. I was playing some 1-2nl and some 2-4nl. I'm up $1,700 since my day back...::two days ago::

i won a nice pot for $800 at the 2-4nl table today. We were playing 3 handed, and I raise it to 14 from the button with 75s and the BB called. The flop came Q 5 5 (two hearts). The pot had $30 and I decided to bet $20 after the BB checked. he ended up called after he took a while to think. The turn blanked. he bet $30 into $70 dollar pot. He probably put me on a flush draw..or a weaker hand. right after he bet, i put him on a Queen. The river was a beautiful 5. It not only gave me quads, but if he had a queen, it gave my opponent a full house. he ended up moving all in quickly for like $330 more and I instantly called. I did get lucky to hit my quads but it happens.

well tonight, my gf is going over her friends house and I might go out with my friends since I have this sweet ride for a night. I want to stay home and play poker but i probably wont. Well take care all

time to get the ball rolling again

Well finals are officially over for me. i have a month and a half off for vacation until spring semester starts. At the rate i'm going, i wont be done with school until the age of 24-25...EHHHHHHH whatever

anyways, i haven't played a lot of poker lately and I usually let my dad or sister play under my SN. they played very very low limits or play chips. Anyways, I decided to deposit and change my password because it's time for "work" mode again. I deposited only $200 since I wanted to get the rust off my shoulders a bit. I decided to move down from my normal limits of 1-2nl and 2-4nl, to .50-1nl and even .25/50nl. I played around with those $200 and eventually lost it all within 2 hrs of play. I wasn't play my normal game.

Again, I deposited, this time $1,000. I played .50-1nl this time and was multitabling. I started to get comfortable again and started to run good. After I was up 2 buy ins ($200), I decided to move up to my normal game to see where I was at. Well I guess I started off well. I played for about another 3-4hrs at 1-2nl and 2-4nl. At the end of the night, I was up a total of $700 for the day. Great day of poker. I just started off cold a bit, losing 200 off the bat but I'm starting to feel it again.

I will def. be playing a lot more poker now since school is out. Anyways, thanks for reading my blog. I apologize for the lack of updates. I promise more poker to come tomorrow


In other news, I'm started to sell a lot of stuff on ebay. I get a lot of electronical stuff for cheap and sell it on ebay. I also get a ton of gift gards from major stores like target, old navy, walmart, sears, mervins..ect. if you want some..just hit me up

I've been really really happy with my g/f in the past few months. Things are going great. I have my new car, which I love to drive. MY g/f makes me the happiest man in the world. We've been together for 3 years and I love her so much. she is my everything. She has changed me in so many ways. I have no idea where I would be in life without her. Family is great as well. they support me playing poker, but at the same time, they want me to teach them.
